A former Alaska Office of Children’s Services worker was put on trial for abusing his position and sexually abusing multiple minors, many younger than even 13.
Twenty-nine-year-old DanelJohn Capid Santos stood in front of Anchorage Superior Court Judge Peter Ramgren where he pleaded guilty to the abuse charges. He was indicted with 15 counts over the incident, which happened back in June 2024.
He entered a plea agreement in March and will face 30 years behind bars, 15 years of probation post-prison, and life on the sex offender’s list.
